Can we eat these food mildly and still able to indulge in the forbidden food by the malaysia delicacy?

1) Snickers
2) Roti Canai
3) Ice Cream (1 Scoop of Baskin Robbin)
4) Banana Split ( 3 Scoops and a Banana)
5) Curry Chicken with Gravy
6) YOgurt
7) Vitagen

9) Kit Kat

12) Nasi Lemak ( Banana Leaf Pack)
13) Cendol
14) Tai Lok Meen
15) Mentos
16) Glucolin ( 4 cups a day)
17) Ribena ( 4 cups a day)
18) Water Melon
19) Fruit Rojak
20) Murtabak Ayam

of course it does. once in a while we might want to indulge in food but i wonder which one is not that bad .
sometimes i do take snickers and 2-3 spoon of ice cream at night when i hungry but i wonder if its bad for my diet?

how about kentucky fried chicken?

by the way, im not the type of person who have time to prepare my own food so i look for alternatives.

i know some of the staple food which many dieters and body builders will take such as peanut butter, sandwiches , protein, chicken thigh , fruits , tuna fish etc but i just want to know if any of the forbidden food especially malaysian one can be turn into a diet food.

eg.

roti canai , tell the mamak not to cook with oil or just had 1 piece .
or
a scoop of ice cream
or
if a cup of milk is not as bad as we think.


I mean why not if those of you can share your secret recipe in the forbidden food so that all of us don't have to be bore by the bodybuilder food i mentioned above.

I compiled a little of what we usually eat. As I generate the calories, I got more and more obsessed into checking sweat.gif thus the long list.

For example, if you have sedentary worklife - then in myfitnesspal their estimation is that you should not consume over 1,200 calories per day (if you are on a diet). Different people will have different calories requirement (also based on diff purpose eg. diet, maintain, increase weight etc).

myremi also provide a good site: calorieking where you can also check for calories.

thanks bata for such a wonderful site. if i dindn't ask, i think i will never know of this valuable site.

now at least i know some of the food calories and should just take half of it rather than skipping it as when we get really hungry, we really hunt down this food like a swine as we miss them for too long.

My longest may not be like some of you which is counting by the number of days but by hours due to working hours and hate cooking.

so i just like to thank those who helps me out here.


Added on January 14, 2010, 3:19 amlooking at the calories counter in cekodok. Should we watch out more on the Fat or Carb?

i don't think i can eat like some of you guys can . Fruits are just for dessert for me. when come to food at the street, how can one say "Tak Nak" when everybody is fighting for table at the best restaurant.

i wish i can train myself to eat moderately .

Malaysian food really bad . probably will switch to more japanese food but so expensive . actually good quality food suppose to be cheaper but it turn out to be more expensive. wonder why our good food is tasteless without good sauce. japanese really good . no sauce or anything also the taste is already good.

is fat more the culprit than carb? I used to eat lots of oily food. i can do away with carbs but oily food is a little hard. perhaps , olive oil cooking is an option.
