Im looking the best nasi kandar in klang valley,anyone knows?
as i know is at PJ nearby Amcorp Mall "Nasi Kandar Zainol"
any suggestion?

small food court beside the jpn office in pj, also beside the waikiki bar beside a &w (if im not mistaken) inside food court got 1 shop call penang something .. its the awesome nasi kandar!

Well when the curry is good who cares whatever ppl call it..nasi kandar ke or Nasi campur mamak ke.... provided it's super cheap & good curry...I heard long time ago sumwan posted here can get RM3 nasi kandar at downtown KL Mesjid India..

near by my house got one good nasi kandar.the gulai daging was awesum.check it out at restoran sharina,taman seri gombak.

Line clear only can survive in Penang & the small lorong only..Outside of Penang, they tried & they failed...For Eg they opened one at Sg petani..but now closed liao.. ..For me they are super dirty & so-so nasi kandar which promoted kaw-kaw by TVs....

BTW, those famous kandar in Penang such as Subaidah, Kayu & Pelita, once they opened in KL, quality all dropped ..no quality control compare to those in Penang...sumore Diff branches of Pelita in Penang also got diff taste wan...


OK Today me balik from the cheapest nasi kandar in Puchong - 1 kari ayam + 1 vege + 1 air sirap = RM3.50 liao...located at DG Food Court Pusat bdr Puchong sek 2 here N3 01.700 E101 37.494

Yup, it's Nasi Kandar Raihan @ Nasi Ganja. So far, as far as I'm concerned, this place offers the best nasi kandar throughout all Klang Valley!

Last time when I work at Shah Alam, I always go there and eat and believe me, at times, the waiting queue would be so long as if people are queuing to buy tickets at GSC MidValley!

Nasi Kandar Kudu bin Abdul Jln Raja Laut. Outside look like Ckinese kopitiam with calligraphy and all, but inside got Mamak Nasi Kandar.

Another is Restoran Insaf at Jalan TAR (walking distance from Sogo), but I hear nowadays quality dropped and also very expensive....

Can we consider McCurry Jln Ipoh as nasi kandar?

Nasi kandar kudu nicer than nasi kandar yaseen meh? i stay there for 20 years plus but seriously i nvr eat there.. i only go nasi kandar yaseen.. same row with the motor shop there...

Dunno, basically I have no preference between them except that usually they say the way Kudu mixes the curry is exactly like the original Penang Nasi Kandar.

Oh, and it's actually Jalan TAR and not Jalan Raja Laut, I always get confused there.....

Seconded on KUDU. the nasi kandar, recommended by P Ramlee.

They serve it with a HUGE chili hijau hidup. Sedap siot.

nasi kandar cannot survive outside penang because of one reason - water source.

fyi pelita n kayu ISNT a famous nasi kandar.those 2 names only recently ones.i.e baru umur kurang 20 years.they are just like fast food stores.all big capital big shops but food all lowya.

the real famous ones are the ones existed back in the 70s n 80s like kassim, hajira to name few.but now days even those shops pun kualiti kurang la as it moves along wth time.they change the tukang masak, more and more non-original spices and etc etc.

back in the 80s kl got a lot good"real" mamak shops n fantastic nasi kandars like kg.pandan, and some few others but its either closed or quality of d food gone down d.not like now days nama saja kedai mamak but food all crappy and the cook oso not mamak.and im a 100% mamak sum more.as for the price no need to say la, nama pun kl where got murah wan.mamak, cina, melayu, india all oso mahal here.

any way as a mamak il advice a bit la, its very hard to find a proper nasi kandar here in kl, adda tuh ada lah but very scarce, so nak enjoy u have to hit utara.penang/kedah/perlis and some parts of perak a lot of choices to choose from.
