fyi pelita n kayu ISNT a famous nasi kandar.those 2 names only recently ones.i.e baru umur kurang 20 years.they are just like fast food stores.all big capital big shops but food all lowya.

the real famous ones are the ones existed back in the 70s n 80s like kassim, hajira to name few.but now days even those shops pun kualiti kurang la as it moves along wth time.they change the tukang masak, more and more non-original spices and etc etc.

back in the 80s kl got a lot good"real" mamak shops n fantastic nasi kandars like kg.pandan, and some few others but its either closed or quality of d food gone down d.not like now days nama saja kedai mamak but food all crappy and the cook oso not mamak.and im a 100% mamak sum more.as for the price no need to say la, nama pun kl where got murah wan.mamak, cina, melayu, india all oso mahal here.

any way as a mamak il advice a bit la, its very hard to find a proper nasi kandar here in kl, adda tuh ada lah but very scarce, so nak enjoy u have to hit utara.penang/kedah/perlis and some parts of perak a lot of choices to choose from.
