With the Yamato CP coming out, I hope this means they will continue to invest in the Zoids line.
I'm glad that Zoids will still continue even if Takara Tomy does not want to be directly involved anymore.

---- OFF TOPIC ---

Need some help from all the modelers here.
Anyone know good way to fix a broken Gojulas tail? Some way that will preserve the looks or minimise aesthetic damage? I really should NOT have left in the metal weight.

Tried cyanoacrylate glue but does not seem to hold the piece for long and those tamiya expoxy putty stuff would ruin the colour, I feel. Any suggestions?

@cryonic:
Thanks for sharing the Deathpion info and pics. Will you be repainting one of your spare Deathpion to Zargam colours soon?

Haven't gotten around to fix up Gojulas yet but definitely not UHU. Very "chunky" when cured. What do you guys use to fix broken bits on HMMs?

Anyone ever tried keeping a built Gilvader in IKEA Detolf cupboard?

On a personal note, I wouldn't mind Koto bringing out more Tigers. Anyone know how to make those HMMs more "playable" and not just display pieces?

Selamat maju jaya, Selamat bergembira dan Selamat Tahun Baru Cina!
Merci, Rabbit.

Enjoy the holidays, y'all. Hope we will be able to keep Zoids alive for a long time yet.

Has anyone found any model pics of the actual D-style Koto Zoids?
Looks like lots of fun to play with.

Happy Zoiding, all. I'm still trying to figure out how to do the Emperor Special HMM Horn.
Anyone know any good site for it besides the Hobby Magazine section on ZP?

Does not look like a continuation of the motorised Kabaya line. Oh well.

Cannot seem to find more model pics of this D-styler.
Hope can get more info from members who regularly trawl Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese, etc. Hobby sites.

On a side note - what gear did you guys used to fix Berserk Fuhrer broken gears? Any model number, gear spec, place to buy? I only know it's got 10 gear teeth on it.

@zoidbliss:
Thanks for the box art. It's great to see the animation characters in "action" - sort off.
Is it me or is Liger Zero a bit too laughey smiley?

QUOTE(ahtiven @ Feb 26 2011, 05:14 PM)
Well, you buy a brand new box. From me.  laugh.gif

I would love to have more berserks but imagine having to change motors between them so that they won't get jealous of each other.
Berserks are very aggro creatures tongue.gif
Any collector's here found a fix on this issue?

Me likey that video clippy! OER mythology in "interactive" comic form.
Early 80's, mah. Just imagine the anticipation when having to turn the cassette over to continue the story. (Go google "magnetic cassette tape" for mp3 only youngsters).

For more of the OER comics, check out http://www.zoidstar.com/comics.html. Have fun!
- I still want a crystal, clear Deathsaurer - with CLEAR rubber band! tongue.gif

EDIT: link fixed. Thanks, Sir Ahtiven. That's what you get for doing speed editing. blush.gif

Is the lightbox the little tent you put figures in to diffuse photo flash? I remember seeing someone using those IKEA laundry basket/box to do that. Don't know if it's on sale now though.

Mmmm - Bloody Deathsaurer. With a crystal DS though, you'd be able to light it up with red LEDs to get Ruby Deathsaurer!

On a side note - is the official designation Deathsaurer (one word) or Death saurer?

My mistake - not laundry basket but the big box with white, cloth-like material. Don't know its designation, sorry.

Regarding Death Saurer - it seems it's spelled with two words on most websites. Guess we'll never know which one it personally prefers. tongue.gif

EDIT:
Dang! Cannot get the Flickr videos to load like Youtubes on this site. Any ideas, ppl?
Anyhow - presenting my latest catch of new, motorised "ZOiiDss" *ahem*

Arg, matey - that be the missing beauty shot of Morbidick!

Yeah, I got to drive the Infinity Leo and I did not have to fly to Japan to do so. It's still around last that I was at e@Curve.
Just in case you wanted more, here's the box shot:
user posted image

Have not built it yet as it's been flown far, far away.

-----------
Compared to Dragoon Nest, the Shrimp Warrior does not launch any zoids.
I think the original can "shoot" mini Zoids out of its claws but I could be wrong about that. Forgot to test that theory when playing with Ed's Nest.

Those are some great kits, bro Kindredd.Those were your Singapore purchases?
Hope you have an equally satisfying acquisition when you get to e@Curve.
The machine runs on tokens so you'll need to get those too.

I quite like the Cannoneer Gordos colours but it's way out of my league, currently. Nevermind. I'll just let Ed and you keep them for me, shall I? tongue.gif

Haven't seen the Genesis Wolf on Jap Yahoo or Amazon lately. Same with the Genesis Molga.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is the only Zenebas clamshell canopy that comes in orange.
Maybe that's why you don't see too many of them around - customisation fodder.

From what I read on ZP, the HMM Gold Sabre's sprue marks aren't as obvious if cut and filed properly.
At least you get little Rudolph and a limited edition poster with it.

These are the kind of paperwork I like!
Papercraft Command Wolf and Blade Liger. Dayem, this guy is talented but I like his motivation for doing so.

Even without painting HMM Liger Zero looks good.
I read that this is one of the more stable kits when it comes to poseability.

@hitsugayat10:
Will you be ink-washing the Zero in the future? I'd go for Dark Horn next. Doing Saix will be like two kitties in a row. The Dino needs love to.

@cryonic: visiting "museum"
- both Ed's and Yap's? I'm sure you'll have loads of fun there. With your dedication to 1/24s, I'm sure you'll be able to complete all the OJRs and variants soon. Have you tried shopping at Yahoo! Japan lately? Don't think I've seen a sandspeeda on there lately though but with the disaster there and all...not surprised. Hope it gets better soon.

EDIT: mint on card motor for Golgola? First time I'm seeing that done for a Zoids motor. Thanks for sharing the pics, bothanspy and cryonic.
To think it was only RRP of 4500 yen. Daim IKEA candy.

Another unsolicited nitpicky EDIT: According to the logo, Zevle actually stands for Zoic Battle Vehicle. Don't know why Zeevao is spelt with a Theta character.

@ahtiven:
Meetup is okay but Saturday's and Sunday mornings no longer free. You restarting your Zoids motor again? Alright, dude!
At least King G's still available.

Oh, clear Death Saurer - why do you hide so?

unfortunately the link gives error.
Error link again? Haiyah, why like dat?
Anyway, for those who couldn't get to see the ZEVLE logo. it's found on the Zoids Ignition site.

*I hope the above link works. I just used the http:// button on the reply form.*

Gojulas the Ogre and Iron Kong PK are now MINE! not.
Whoever got those little kitten and puppy, please take care of them in their old age.

@ cryonic: Congrats on the Pteras CP - are you putting it on your NJR, OJR or Graphics Pteras (is there a colour difference in the latter two)? Pteras is one motorised Zoido I haven't got yet. So very sad.

@orestes:
From what I've been reading, the HMM Blade Liger Mirage and HMM Liger Zero special parts are the only ones with pearlescent armour. Is it anything like the Gildragon, Genesis Decalto sheen?

I imagine that would look so much better in person than in pictures but the canopy seems a little ill-fitting. Is it too tight or otherwise?

For a recently released item, I'm surprised at the discount on the HMM gold Sabre.

I hope it's not because it isn't selling well but more as a promotional tactic.
I mean, it's got both sitting and standing Rudolph, which, if I recall correctly, was never in mass release before.

Hopefully, HMM Death saurer will have a companion tiny Prozen. It is possible, right?

-----------

Oooh - D-style Liger with deformed Van! I guess the Chaotic Century look probably suits it more than Guardian Force's Van.
Where's deformed Fiona and Geek?

According to the "translated" Koto page - Ban is not pre-painted.
No mention of the other two suspects also.

Based on the talk on ZP, if you order through Kotobukiya Direct or at their shops, an extra display base will be provided with this.
I'm trying to get their help in translating if the offer is applicable for orders through AmiAmi or HobbySearch as well.

Possible D-style Death Saurer next too.

Anyone have an extra RM2000+ to spend?
Can you you get me this limited Genesis Redler, please? tongue.gif

@orestes:
Are you asking why clear Genesis Ligers are overpriced and in seemingly high demand?

Besides their Limited status, I guess it depends on whether you like seeing the internal mechanisms or not (but then I don't think you can view the moving gears on the clear Genesis Ligers).

I personally like clear and holotech Zoids for the colour effect under different lighting conditions.
Check out the customised Wu below:

By the way, did you buy the Mugen Liger? Congrats on that.
