Where can I buy old consoles like N64, SNES, NES, Megadrive etc?

Yes, I would rather go eBay than waiting for a rare find locally. But it also means very not cheap

I used to want to own those consoles you mentioned. But I gave up because I can't find repair support locally.

Buy from eBay, when the console die then buy again.

go to cash converters. maybe if you are lucky you can find it there.

i thought cash converters was a store localised in aus? didnt know they had one here in msia?

SS2 has one iirc. Sunway has another one, and Bukit Tinggi Klang has one more. I think there's more, too.

Cash converter? Hard to get. And kinda untrusted as they don't know whether its faulty or not.

IMHO, there are a few members in LYN that resides/sell stuff directly from japan and ship them back to KL. you should contact them - check the toys thread .

japan has a lot of video game stores that sells all these old machines. just be prepared to shell out $$$$ . dont expect to get them cheap. all these vintage consoles are in mint condition (original box, cables, manual)

lowyat and ebay is the main option... I remember nearby retailer in wansamaju got that was last year la now donno still got or not

I saw there's tons of new Megadrive boxes in one gameshop in Atria Kompleks, Damansara Jaya....not sure if there's console inside or just empty boxes though. But it looks like new.

Saw a few MD boxes in Mydin Mall USJ. Thinking of grabbing one myself even though my Genesis clone is still working okay.

All those MegaDrive consoles are China clones, just like the old Micro Genius NES/FamiCom clones.

Interesting. Those I've seen have pretty convincing boxes, which iirc even have the Sega logo.

I bought five megadrive cartridges from ebay, all totaling to more than RM600....that should give you a picture how expensive it is. I'm very confident if I want to re-sell them in lowyat, it would not be more than RM20 each.
