Hi all, I am currently using my Altec Lansing VS4121 2.1 system speakers on my LCD TV. I am planning to spend another RM600 to get a better speakers. Any recommendation?

Budget: <RM600
Prefer system type if possible: soundbar, 2.1 system speakers but if there are better 5.1 speakers then it is fine.

Expert opinion needed!!

Btw, are you looking for speakers that bundle with DVD? (with buildin amp) or just speakers with Hifi Amplifier or just normal PC speakers ( like Altec Lansing VS4121 ).

AE 2.1 speakers perhaps, with additional RM100 plus

if AE 2.1 out of ur budget,u might need to look for klipsch promedia 2.1..being using the speaker previously to pair with my dvd player/ps3 and it did well to fill up a small room...but in larger room,u might need more that promedia..

very satisfy for it price/performance..kinda thinking of letting it go as i hv bought me a new HT..

I ald have DVD player. Just looking for speakers which do not require Amp if possible as I am trying to keep it simple. I am in a medium size room so a 2.1 speakers should do the work.

no..it just a simple PC speaker..it also hv rca input for your dvd player (no..it come with no dvd player ) mine is Promedia 2.1 GMX that considered as a rare now a days..dunno the replacement (Promedia 2.1) will have the same perfomance as its predecessor
