I have installed the VS immediately after received it in the evening. First thing I noticed is the brightness of cabin lights and lights from dashboard and meters have become better. It is noticeable. I would say at least 30% better. Then, the next thing is the headlamps. I have been using this Philips Nightbreaker for 2 years but have never been satisfied with what ppl claimed a much brighter product compare to the conventional. With the VS it become brighter. My eyes told me it is about 30% or more. Radio reception has also improved and speakers output is clearer and louder. I used to lower the bass option to -5 or the lowest I can get and increase the treble to highest +5 to get a clear sound. These are all stock equipment from yr 1999!.
Finally, the first ride after installing the VS. Was sending my kids to school this morning. Used to get jerk or feeling of got pulled back when this aircon kicks in or when this radiator fan starts moving. All those are almost gone. The power output is much smoother. The engine does not roar so much anymore when the above kick in. Somehow I can feel the car is more powerful now at least at low speed like 60-70kmph. It is definitely a better driving experience. Now this one matter to me most. Lastly, if the above improvements can last for a year or 2, I would regard this VS a worthwhile investment. Oh yes, the FC. It is not my priority but of course if that improve too that would definitely be a bonus. Maybe I will update that one later. I normally use up a tank full a week. Give me a week. |
