Hi Eric,

Here's my review after a short period of trying your VS:

- car felt smoother when driving,
- auto trans have smoother gear change,
- idling more stable,
- light dimming (when compressor kicks in) is less noticeable,
- rpm fluctuation (compressor cut-off & kick-in) is more stable.
- meter lighting previously is dimmer, now got slightly better of.
- slightly softer acceleration

Best & most noticeable effect: smoother ride thumbup.gif

- I had installed a very big size aircond compressor in my 10 yr old car, and the impact it did (when kick-in/cut-off) is quite noticeable, causing rough idling, light dimming, and fan (installed extra fan in front of condenser too) cut/kick-in too often which i believe its sensor wasn't getting accurate signal, and some other issues which i am not sure whether its related or not... But after install this VS, aircond run smoothly, better idling, light dimming is so much less noticeable (im using 90/100w bulb with booster cable, and a pair of 55w fog light that wired to turn on together with driving light)

- my auto-tranny is not shifting gear as smooth before i installed the large size compressor, but now it gets smoother gear change, dont know why, but i know its not placebo effect for sure.

Though i installed 4GA grounding wire (thicker than the 8GA wire that this VS has), but the supposingly 'enhancement' effect was not felt. However with this VS, i can feel the abovementioned improvement. People keep telling me VS is gimmick, dont waste money etc. My friend also wanted to take off his zxxxxx brand VS as he dont feel much difference (the LED is funky though). But with this VS, i give it a thumbs up.

To-be-confirm effects:
a) I 'felt' aircond now gives better cooling power, but i need longer period to verify that (this week's lunch hour is not that hot as before...)
b) Odometer shows a bit extra mileage than before, and VS is just installed when i left about half or lesser tank of fuel. TBC on this.

IMO, there's also room for improvement on this VS:
i) could use 4GA instead of 8GA cable (though 8GA wire is already better than most other common wire, which only skin thick, but not the wire)
ii) possibly shorter cable? i find that wire a bit 'long' since it sit just beside the battery
iii) more caps? (hahaha, bila mahu keluar stronger version III?)
iv) better lug? is copper better than the existing one?

This is only a short period testing. More detail to come after longer testing.

One more question, will adding extra VS gives more effect? or the electrical load/charging already near optimal state where further 'improvement' of more VS is unlikely?
