u can bring gifts, but sometimes huge gifts are a bit awkward when u carry them around in the wedding.. u may be among the few who bring gifts.. and u dont want a coincidence of presenting the same thing another person presents.. better 2 give ang pao la, at least the couples can decide on what they would like to get..

eg.. RM 51 , 101 , 201 , 1001 ,.. watever as long it ends with 1...

Indian weddings not more to ang pows. They are more to gifts. Just present some gifts like rice cooker or toaster or pirex set or stuff like that. They are newly married, they might move to new house, so they might need those stuffs smile.gif

Or if ure too confused, just use a nice envelope, put their name on it and congrats them, put inside at least 50 or 100. Dont give lower than that, its a wedding, not birthday. When u go see them and shake hand, give them that time. End of story. Matter solved.

today attent an indian wedding, give 300 for 3 person
just got Indian rice
