 how to create a dual boot, intending to learn linux

yeah , ubuntu is preferable. as said in the website, installation is less than 30 minutes i think. easy installation, comes with web browser(firefox/mozilla) and also word processor(open ofice).

can play windows game in linux..wow..dont have to switch back to windows if want to play game..hehe..sadly..have to buy cry.gif

knoppix also come in bundle..got samba also..allow me to connect with windows network group thumbup.gif

Most windowns installations take up all the space on your hard drive, leaving no room for installing linux. The first and most difficult thing you must do is clear some space where linux can be installed. linux needs to have partitions of its own, but windons does not have the ability to resixe partitions. ordinarily, ths mean you would have to delete your existing partitions ( everything on it) to make room on the drive and then create partitions of smaller sizes and reinstall.

cannot get for free? i read somewhere the previos version is free and we can download it. why now is not free anymore vmad.gif erm... i try to use wine to install windows aplication including games but none are working. just can install but cannot start the aplication shakehead.gif

anybody no how to cinfigure wine??
