Simple common sense: The price will never ever be rm2090/rm2490 as 8gb 3GS is rm1990. Full stop.

I think availability will be after 30 sep with preorder starts last week of sep. Again, common sense since Apple Case Program ends this month, would you not think Apple will wait just few more days to save them from the hassle of issuing case and what not.

Another possible but unlikely scenario is limited stock for last week of sep with free case and new batch after that.

Also, whats really annoyed me most is how some blogger posting misleading or lazy post to gain traffic to their site..ish

do check out this link on the days leading to the launch in singapore:

if malaysia is similar, this can gives a good idea what will happen in coming days.

just book my spot, and the booking got error after processing my number, must be lots of ppl

Here are the launch event details:

Location: Gardens Hotel Ballroom
Pick-up date: 24 Sept 2010
Pick-up time: 10am - 2pm

got around 500 unit left for each of the 4 places

Calls to sub-line no longer free

4) 3Gs out 3 weeks after i bought the 3G , can't trade in !
All in all , paid over Rm700 . Went to Maxis CS , she says she understands , coz she is experiencing the same problem , same with hundreds of others !
Seems they've re-worked their billing , but it's Rm700 down the drain  mad.gif

So be careful guys when you sign up for your iP4

i personally think its not exactly right to said the telco conned you..esp item 2, it spell out clearly and its the No.1 thing being stressed by maxis sales when helping you to signup new plan...and it make more sense to pro-rata the bill..
sometimes, we need to take on the responsibility too as consumer to research when buying things and spend at least sometime reading terms and conditions, etc...a good example: just imagine everyone complain and accuse the cinema for conning them to watch Twilight doh.gif
