So far as i been following the price of iphone each release, yes they are replacing the previous model plan with the new phone. Basically i called it "apple price control".

Seems coming very soon, maxis already ask u to backup the data,where they have to informed you because as i heard they 3gs does not have any manual/cd provided/came with itunes... (where this is why my customers who using iphone does not know the itunes existing).

Cheers and wait for the next news

@string,

Accroding to macis T&C,

Data included in iValue Plans applies to local mobile Internet usage only and excludes SMS, MMS, and
other subscription based services. Subsequent data usage which is above the data bundles will be
charged at RM0.05/10KB. The maximum charge for local usage is up to RM250.

But anyway i am hoping maxis will change to throttle rather than charge..

@mike,

Basicly the prepayment serves as your "deposit", let say u pay RM 200, and you pick RM100 Commitment plan.

The formula will be

For the first 5 months, The PREPAYMENT RM400 will be divided equally ( 200/5 = 40)

So, first 5 months , The commitment fee RM100 will be deduct with PREPAYMENT that equally divided of 5 months.

So, first 5 months you are paying RM100 - 40 = RM 60.

Hope it helps
