@rx330,
Er.. ain't FaceTime video conferencing? Which means U can see + hear audio too?  If so, Y still need to make call?
Redundancy or plain stupidity. That is why. I was stunned for a couple of seconds when I came across his post regarding that matter. Doesn't make sense right? IT doesn't sound oxymoron to me too.

@S4a,
If it's truly an issue, Apple would have stopped selling the iPhone 4, instead of continuing its launch.
It was an issue which was being addressed in a very distasteful manner by Apple. It's pretty much like a "WTF moment" for me to read such quote from Apple. However, as of now, the issue been rectify in some form and let's keep our finger crossed for Apple's iPhone 4.

I guess its to connect the phones? or else you need to enter IP
Hmmm...what about I ignite my auto but I'll leave it idling there while I run with my sneakers to the office then? Doesn't make sense at all right? I mean come on...are we talking about opening a few applications simultaneously in your Macs, perhaps?

p.s: Don't forget your auto when you have reached home thou.

There's not much information out there yet at the moment. Hearsay is aplenty but solid information has yet to be in hands.

seriously guys, what do u guys think about the price of the IP4 in malaysia arr?
do u think its worth the wait to get it from apple singapore for RM2k++?
my gf got relative there...abit itchy de  tongue.gif

p/s: sorry if someone already ask this  sweat.gif
The price given thus far is just an approximation. It doesn't hold water but you can have a gauge. The worth of value is dependable on you. If you desire it, go ahead and make the purchase. If it's not, then you can go astern and purchase something else that you fancy.

Apple's Limited Warranty for iPhone covers your iPhone for one year. Warranty service for eligible repairs is available at no charge for twelve months from the date of original retail purchase ("date of purchase").

One year or two years of limited warranty given?

no official news. maybe, like Singapore, we have to pay another 10 - 15% ? RM200 for 2 year warranty, from Apple, via Maxis? cos Maxis cannot warranty Apple products, they don't make them.
Thanks for the information given. I hope others will not say 2-year limited warranty again because it's misleading others to a certain extent. In conclusion, by default, it's a ONE (1) year limited warranty for the iPhone 4.

Across the board? Since the asterisk sign is not there.

if it was so exclusive, why not provide a registration ID for every email sent out as well? then they can definitely get their unit..
It's better to slug this question to the entity which/whom is organising this. Who bloody knows the mechanism involved, other that those who were well informed, right?

i remember some1 mentioned on the outright purchase is only entitle to the existing iphone4 new user where you purchased / take the contract and then can purchase 1 out-right. Im right?
As per reference with previous postings in this thread, there's someone did mention the outright purchase could be done in such manner. However, the legitimacy of such allegation has yet to be confirmed. Period.

QUOTE(sunyen @ Sep 21 2010, 04:10 PM)
i personally think its not exactly right to said the telco conned you..esp item 2, it spell out clearly and its the No.1 thing being stressed by maxis sales when helping you to signup new plan...and it make more sense to pro-rata the bill..
sometimes, we need to take on the responsibility too as consumer to research when buying things and spend at least sometime reading terms and conditions, etc...a good example: just imagine everyone complain and accuse the cinema for conning them to watch Twilight  doh.gif
When the proper word is not being written, it is subject to many interpretations. "Being conned by..." is a very good example to be taken into consideration. If you notice the webpage of Maxis per se, you can see what were being displayed after a period of time the call/data packages revealed and being in use.

Last word for everyone, exercise caution and we hold the responsibility as a consumer too. It doesn't kill you if you read the Terms and Conditions as stipulated by Maxis and/or Apple.

Sorry. I do not know.

i dun think maxis would wanna sell outright without any commitment from its customers atm since i4 stocks are so limited. common sense right? who dun wanna make more money?
When it comes to business sense where ringgit and sen are involved, I am not in the preposition to comment as such. If one to think, would you trade your psychological wants with monetary entity? I don't think so. But I'll leave this open ended for you to ponder upon.
