Totally feels disappointing with TM / TM Point. Here my sad story goes,
Last two Friday been to TM Point Museum @ Jalan Raja Chulan for registering a new TM Home Line + Streamyx Cool UniPack 1mbps package as my current Streamyx account isn't under my name but my sister. So the next Monday TM contractor came to my house to install new Home Line and it was activated on Tuesday, wait...wait...wait until Friday I've yet to received any news about my Streamyx installation, then straight away went to TM Point Museum for inquiry about that, the TM staff told me the new TM Home Line was an used number by some one on year 2006, and the owner has terminated the Home Line but not Streamyx, so they couldn't proceed my Streamyx Cool UniPack application, the moment I heard this, I was very angry as the new Home Line number is assigned by them but not chosen by me, so they told me the only solution was to select a new Home Line number which was never been registered by some one, so on. Straight away choose a new number then it was activated on the same day which was Friday, quite surprising. So the next Monday again I went to TM Point Museum for inform them my new number has been activated and ask them to process my Streamyx Cool UniPack application, guess what? The TM staff told me my area was out of port to support so they have to put me in the waiting list. ^*&^$#%, straight way ask them to terminate the new Home Line and it's without penalty as I only registered within one week without using it. So this is my story about Streamyx Cool UniPack, just a kind information for some one who is going to apply Streamyx Cool UniPack,
1. Be sure the new Home Line number is not registered by some one.
2. Check your area whether it has sufficient port or not.
No Pain No Gain, the lucky is I didn't terminate my current old Streamyx account earlier, otherwise I won't be able to online until they have extra port.
seems like the safe way is to secure the newline then baru terminate the old ones.
