I did some valuation check... Seems like Supermx still stands out (in terms of valuation) among all gloves counters...
Next in line was Latexx... Initially, I thought Kossan stands out, but seems like CIMB give too high expectation on Kossan. May need to wait for its financial result in order to judge... Just my own analysis, just for you guys to read for fun. Buy at your own risk. QUOTE(protonw @ Jan 22 2010, 10:01 AM) |

I quote from UOB kayhian's report today:
"Rubber glove sector offers little near term upside after a strong ytd share price run up.Expect profit taking on surging cost and intense capacity expansion." Not written by me |

QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Jan 22 2010, 09:56 AM) Oh yes....definitely, now lots of $$$....Settled my TM, Maybank recently for nice profits Now...got bullets! About Adventa, I actually averaged down at 3.7x and sold at 3.9x for trading profits. I guess now is the time to return for the actual long term holding. |

QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Jan 22 2010, 10:05 AM) QUOTE Kossan high 7.13, now 6.46 (-10%) Roughly made a price comparison on glovvy based on recent rally. Harta high 7.71, now 7.34 (-5%) Supermax high 6.18, now 5.18 (-19%) Adventa high 4.35, now 3.51 (-23%) Latexx high 4.95, now 3.73 (-32%) Ruberex high 3.36, now 2.68 (-25%) Latexx kena hit the most. Topglove is not in the list because it is not affected at all!!! QUOTE(StupidGuyPlayComp @ Jan 22 2010, 10:11 AM) I think PE wise, Supermax looks the best. CIMB picks is Supermax and Adventa (keeps on pointing out it's surgical gloves)Those TP from CIMB is based on projected future earnings so ah.. read the fine prints. Not sure about Kossan, didn't research on this one. Management wise, I like Harta's margin. Seems to be ~30% compared to others (20%). |

[/quote] Well Topglove didn't made those huge rally similar to other counters, it only inch up bit by bit all these time. Seems like punters didn't like the RM10+ tag. Latexx is among the one with biggest volume in the last rally. I think PE wise, Supermax looks the best. Yup! Seems like our analysis point out that Supermx still the lowest in valuation.
Adventa... I'm not sure about the earning growth... I think many research paper put very high expectation on it... Its gearing is a bit scary to me...
