route your tv coaxial cable to splitter, you can then share tv antenna to both TV and AVR

although TV's VHF antennas are cut to receive frequencies above FM frequency band, it can still be used as FM antenna

to guard against lightning strike, use some sort of lightning isolator on both power point and antenna point, if you have some spare cash, erect a lightning rod system on your roof

just get a rabbit ears antenna, you can even construct it yourself it basically involved 2 pieces of wire, search the net for instruction
