Hi there,

May I know is there anyone that has applied student dependent visa(Australia) through the online application, not by the agent like IDP? This is because I got an email reply from the Australian High Commission in KL saying that student dependent will need to provide:

Evidence of funds in the form of original documents as follows:
- bank statements for the past 6 months; and
- letter from financial institution confirming account status for the past 6 months
However, on the www.immi.gov.au, it stated very clearly that Malaysian student who is in assessment level 1 only need to declare the funds. Is the Australian immigration has implemented new rules on student and student dependent visa?
rclxub.gif Please advice, guys...
Thank you.

Try to verify again from Australian high commission. Are you sure you click the column for the country correctly?
