Just went today, fixed my keyboard and EVERYTHING works so awesome! I can't believe my fingers... The keyboard is so lovely again. I keep typing in Notes... cannot stop, after so long finally my keyboard can be used so comfortably!

The people there really know how to fix the keyboard, all keys work perfect. But unlike Aius, the boss there never give me 2 weeks warranty, in fact no warranty at all. He serviced it, let me try, I happy, paid and go. No warranty.

First of all, DO NOT EXPECT YOUR X1 TO BE LIKE AN IPHONE. It's probably why your brother ditched this phone anyway. This phone DOES NOT resemble an iphone. It's not as user friendly, there are lags, bugs, hangs. Aside from that, Windows Mobile is a really cool platform to do lots of things you won't imagine being able to be done.

Secondly, I would highly recommend you to flash to a custom ROM for speed, stability, eye candy, you name it.

Before you do anything however, please read the stickies of the forum clearly, follow the instructions step by step and you should be just fine. I recommend EnergyROM, but you can view around to find which one suits you best.

For Facebook application, there is one made by Microsoft, it's included in most ROMs... You can search around for it but I don't recommend using it. It's far too laggy and slow for my liking, I prefer to either use touch.facebook.com or m.facebook.com. Do note that the mobile site has been improved significantly so it's a much better experience to use it compared to last time. The good people over at xda is developing a Facebook application themselves for quite some time now, haven't heard of any big progress.

You can search around for Garmin XT or Papago, TomTom for GPS. Even Google Maps.

I've been using SEX1 for nearly 2 years now, still continuing to learn more about the phone every day.

bytheway, this phone my brother bought from singapore, will there be any problem with "flashing to ROM". i just found out the phone is window 6.1 ..it is pretty outdates is it. may i know what is the latest...?

guys, can u guide me how to "beam" few files from X1 to computer..i'm unable to like mark few pictures to beam to the computer. i have to beam each and everyone 1 by 1...can selecting few files to beam be done?
