It's dangerous in Europe and America, but not in Malaysia. Over here, it's much harder for those scams to work, because the banks here insists on seeing your IC. They' don't have ICs over there.

But if they ask for your name, bank account number, ic number, address. Then later phone up and ask for more info like mother's maiden name, atm card number, when was your last transaction, etc. I will start to worry a little, but I still can't think of how they can get money out of your account.
