QUOTE(warlockimran @ May 10 2010, 04:51 PM) Thanks, I was aware of this, but its good to highlight though, for everyone else here. hmm..the reason is my iphone 3g is quite old for me and tempting to change to Android phone..so if i change to android phone, i will miss all the apps available in app store.so jsut wondering should i get ipad with android phone or iphone + android phone :/This isn't a case you buy for serious protection, in my opinion. More for a bit of style (if you like Moleskine) and a bit of light protection, to place in sling bag etc. Added on May 10, 2010, 3:04 pm This is a difficult question to answer. I currently have both the iPhone 3GS and iPad, and in love with both devices. However, they are very different devices in terms of usage. My iPhone is with me 24/7. I check emails, Facebook, sometimes chat. I surf my news sites, check my To-Do list and play light games on it. So far, my iPad stays at home (no case, this may change once the case I ordered arrives). I read some books, comics, surf the net (almost my favourite thing on the iPad). All the other things, a bit of games, and sketchbook, are only cos I've done the above, and just don't want to switch the iPad off due to its addictive nature. My conclusion is the iPhone is an 'active' tool, which I use often as it is always with me. The iPad is a 'passive' device, not essential, but wonderful whenever I pick it up. So, in an attempt to answer your question, I would say, it depends, on whether you would prioritize what you do on the iPad, over what you do on the iPhone. That being said, the iPad will mesmerize you.... (I know, not helping) |

QUOTE(mAxPC @ May 10 2010, 10:42 PM) When the Australia units hit then that will be another nearer source for most people here then ya.thts y i m waiting here in australia..can pre-order for now but mayb straight head to apple store and feel it...QUOTE(little ice @ May 10 2010, 11:11 PM) not possible, if you do a very simple math. i think it is impossible for ur price estimation..ipod touch 64GB is now RM1600 (RM1599 to be exact), and that's for US$399. cheapest ipad is US$499, added US$100 easily add RM400 on top of the RM1600 ipod touch price. so if you buy RM2200 for ipad wifi 16GB now, you're not overpaying a lot. RM2899 sounds a lot more like the 64GB 3G-less version, 64GB 3G can easily shoot up to RM3399~RM3499. many ppl will think not worth for RM3k+..n not fair to compare ipod touch 64gb with 16gb ipad |
