hi anyone here know if the ipad can open PDF contents? I am planning to get one but heard that it may not be able to open PDF formats.

I know u can open the PDF files.. but i wanna use the Ibook to open it. I wanna use my Ipad as an ebook device... That is its main purpose. I cant say i am a big fan of the iphone.. I chucked it away after using it for 2 days..
