I don't think it will damage any electronics equipments at all. These virus affects only PC running Microsoft Windows, and harmless if there is no windows program.

malware and virus normally will effected to memory and files or download more virus into your hardware through internet. only certain virus is programmed to destroy the bios and hardware. therefore, depends which type the of virus is infected in your usb pendrive.

But as a precaution, its best to 'destroy' these viruses just in case you forgot and plug it in your PC.

Newer TV has OS. But does TV OS recognize autorun.inf?

Most virus (if not all modern virii) drop a Autorun.inf on the thumb drive only. TVs should not recognize autorun, unless it's one of those TV with built in PC. Although if you have a thumb drive with virus on them, I recommend scanning it with good antivirus and deleting any virus on them anyway.

Not really, probably proprietary interface to access (Similiar to the new Astro b.yond decoder running on Unix??) only user input is the remote control.

dont know what it affect for TV and media players

But if viruses infected to memory cards placed on phones

will cause following one of the following symptons

1) battery hot and consume powers
2) auto send SMS, calling
3) memory cant detect
4) auto "off on" of phone
5) some functions cant be used

only today one customer sent in a phone complain that sometimes his phone black out, and at times only half LCD display only

after removing the virus then the phone is okay biggrin.gif

well i just want to stress, wierd things do happen

in medical term, if diseases not detected they will be know as "cancer" it do spread with unknown problems

but for computer cases, it does attack boot files or just even files,
i have also seen (eg photo) files turn to unknown characters and symbols .... thus couldnt be read or deleted smile.gif

TV well maybe .... media players, might have unknown problems biggrin.gif

one more extract ....
