hmm, it's not really unexpected. I mean it what the industry needed at teh time. But I don't think Katanagari will be the same. For one this is not illustrated by Vofan, so the moe factor is lacking in the design itself (it's done by Take). Another thing is this looks more serious, instead of the tounge in cheek humour of Bakemonogatari.
for me I am looking forward to it. but will it acheive the same height as Bakemono? I doubt it |
