"Display driver Nvidia Windows Kernal Mode Driver, Version 195.62 stopped responding and has successfully recovered"

Screen blacks out, usually when switching between apps. Have reloaded Nvidia drivers, no change.
System hang for 3-5 sec before screen black out

I'm using geforce 9600gt

bro, try some older driver...like 174.74 @ 185.85 something. Id encounter dis kind of prob when using my 8800GT,

dude how ur g.card? Still ok after using the old forceware? I think that 195...or
something (the latest forceware) quite incompatible to the older card (like my
8800GT for exmple). I'd try it before and after few minutes the screen blackout
and back to normal. Then revert back to 174.74
