Nvidia Crashing Windows 7, Display driver Nvidia Windows Kernal Mod

Getting Started

|
"Display driver Nvidia Windows Kernal Mode Driver, Version 195.62 stopped responding and has successfully recovered" Screen blacks out, usually when switching between apps. Have reloaded Nvidia drivers, no change. System hang for 3-5 sec before screen black out I'm using geforce 9600gt before this in windows vista have no problem with this anyone have any solution for this? thanks

i experience it too..im using zotac gtx285 amp, din oc
sometimes it will happen, but it din affect anything

no OC since bought it

same as me i also face this prob but my is ATI card about 2-5 per day i will face this prob really annoying me and when that happen, pc will freeze 2-5 second and then ok back google but dont find the solution to this prob google and people said it's windows 7 fault i dont experience this prob on windows xp

IM using a gtx295 with the newest drivers.
Life still seems good to me .. been playing just abt every new game I can get my hands on
Modern warfare 2, left 4 dead 2 .
All played on high , without any problems
running on windows 7 64 bit >_> . go figure.

my gtx260+ also got this problem if i oc it, after black screen, the framerate drops to 20-30 constantly, which initially was 75fps.
after restart only can recover.

dude how ur g.card? Still ok after using the old forceware? I think that 195...or something (the latest forceware) quite incompatible to the older card (like my 8800GT for exmple). I'd try it before and after few minutes the screen blackout and back to normal. Then revert back to 174.74
