Last I heard, you can still send your faulty mice to Ban Leong even after the warranty has expired, but obviously there will be charges incurred, they're not running a charity. You'll have to call them to ask about the charges yourself. If it's expensive you'll be better off getting a new mouse.

As for the Mamba cable, I think you can find a video of it on youtube. And it's not something I'd want to get loose in time.

Well yeah no, it's not exactly hard, but it's not easy either. I wouldn't want to do it often. If you would, then so be it. good for you mate.

Mate, the Lachesis has no jitter problem with the newer firmware/drivers.

Hmm those special edition DeathAdders would be great for collectors, but no one else.

I can't see anyone buying it for use as a primary mouse, seeing the absurdly high price for what is essentially a regular original DeathAdder. The glossy surface won't be anywhere near as nice to use as the normal rubber coating either. You'd be better off buying a run of the mill DA V2, or even a Mamba at that price.

One for the collectors.

True, a mousepad is a mousepad, nothing much you can write about it.
Anyhow, do you think it's just a reskinned/upgraded eXactMat, or is it closer to the Destructor in feel? And it looks really thick with the rubber grips. Is it really?

Well my Mamba is fine, even after almost a year of hard use.. The scroll wheel is not silent, but I guess it is a by-product of it to have the required tactile feedback. You don't see me complaining.

As for the 'Patent Pending' thing, don't read too much into that. Most, if not all, my Razer mice has it written somewhere on it. I distinctly remember my Mamba, Lachesis, Copperhead, and DeathAdder having them. Not too sure about the DiamondBack. No biggie. Nothing to throw fits about.

How not to scroll so hard? Middle-click, and move your cursor accordingly. You'll learn to appreciate it when your assignments get longer and longer.

DKTBoard - The keys are the same size as regular sized keyboards, so the key distance for typing is the same. Just that there are no gaps between the the numpad and the qwerty area (plus a few relocated keys, to save space), so the overall size of the keyboard is smaller.

And yeah it will be quite hard to find a new one now. Got mine in August last year and it was the last one the shop had (or in the whole Lowyat Plaza, in fact).

Now I'm wondering how you all use your mouse.
My Copperhead did peel off slightly, but that was after more than 2 years of really hard use. My Diamonback, Lachesis and Mamba I've used for about a year each and they look new (apart from scratches on the bottom), with no signs of peeling at all.

Wow you're one hardcore Razer fan eh?
I myself have given up waiting for good, or even decent Razer keyboards.
My DKTBoard will serve me just fine until a new keyboard catches my attention wink.gif
