bought my Abyssus today, but having a problem with it. The logo light is glowing but I dont seem to be getting any response from the mouse movement. I had installed the software, what else I'm missing out...?

have u updated the firmware?

before installing the software, did windows detect the mouse?

No.. Tried it on other machine, it doesn't work either..

guys, does razer booth ppl ask customers to open their razer product straight away at the booth to test for faulty? i mean the customers who just bought the product.

like lets say mr A bought razer abyssus. then the booth ppl ask him to test it out see got faulty onot. no such thing right? and so many ppl, how to open and test?

i bought an abyssus mouse through a fren's fren. he said its open, he tested at booth, scare got faulty??? LOLZ! i bought many razer products and nvr tested it on the spot. and why would he even care for whether its faulty or not? i believe he wants to test it himself and see whats inside the box. so how should i deal with this prob? just reject the item? or how? i wan do the unboxing video and picture. but now becuz of that CI***. i cant do it anymore.

that is definitely the mouse problem since u said other systems also cannot detect the mouse.

dont think abyssus firmware can be updated..

dunno if they ask or not, but i seen some ppl test the mouse while buying.
so i dont see a prob on ur fren's side...

LOL, try putting yourself into that guy's shoes. If you were to buy something for a friend's friend, what if the item is DOA. Then the friend's friend will say something like "That CI*** guy never test first before purchase"

Nope they didn't ask you to try, but it's more on the consumer awareness. I was in hurry, otherwise I would have test it out at the booth.

Just exchanged it with a new one this morning, working fine now.

Just bought Razer Imperator.. Its so nice!

I never request to open the mouse and check when I make my purchase.. I like to go home and slowly unbox it myself. hahaa
usually no problem, and I figure that if I find anything wrong I can just send back for RMA.

make sure you download the latest Imperator driver from razer site to access all its functions.

but how can i display the dpi on desktop? for my cas...only profile can be displayed...or am i missing something?

yeah, super nice and comfortable.... fits my palm nicely...
downloaded the latest driver lol... but i set 1800dpi only...

why would u want to display it on desktop when u can simply look under the mouse?

what i meant was whenever i change the dpi using the middle button..it will display my current dpi at that time on the desktop...i've seen it in youtube imperators review.....

Imperator doesn't have DPI underneath the mouse


ya i know. The Dpi is supposed to show on the desktop whenever you change it using the two middle buttons.
However, I read that it has issues with windows 7, so it doesn't work as intended.
