Ok this time we'll be looking at the Carcharias...
Here's how the box looks

Actualy i prefer this kind of packaging from razer rather than the megalodon cuz it shows you how the headset is exactly big..
The headset itself is very good looking compared to the piranha which makes you look square headed
The razer logo was located at the side of the earcup and razer on top of the headset




As you can see from the HUGE earcup and padded headband from this headset,its an extremely light and comfortable headset. I've been wearing it for max of 8 hours straight and i've forgot im wearing it ..So that is a definite plus there

Noise isolation with this headset...its kinda good for semi-open circumaural headset.I've bring this to a cyber cafe near my house and surprisingly it isolate it very well..But my friend can listen to the leaking of sound of my headphone..

Sound positioning with this headset..I've been using it with the SteelSeries Siberia USB soundcard.The sound positioning is very good but not as good as the 5hv2...I can listen footsteps of people behind the wall and could get some frags thru it
Of course compared to the 5hv2,this headset is more functional than the 5hv2 since the 5h is a pure gaming headset...

The noise canceling feature works well as from the sound recording..you can hardly hear the TV is on

In comparison with the razer piranha headphone which is a on the ear headset.
The packaging of the headset
Sound isolation is always better in the carcharias cuz it surrounded the ear
Carcharias has a softer and thicker headband than the piranha which makes the headset lighter than the piranha

Ear cup side as you can see carcharias and the piranha have the same earpad thickness but piranha is always more portable than the carcharias.


Music,movies both sounded same but the carcharias has a bit better surround sound than the piranha..

Mic quality wise the piranha's mic cant cancel off the frequency of the television
The length of the mic is great on the carcharias which bends in front of your mouth but i highly reccomend you bend the mic near your mic because people will hear you blowing the mic instead of talking

Bass has always been great for razer..I can hardly notice any difference in bass from the two headset

Despite this headset has a frequency range of 20-20kHz,it can produce very great sound quality..

I give this headset a 9 out of `0 due to the lack of lighting which does not shows the mark of razer
