Why Panny P42S10K stop manufacturing?, Anyone know the reason behind?

Saw it going fo S$988 at Best Denki Vivo City over the New Year weekend. Also announced are the D2 series, LED backlit IPS panel Panasonic Viera LCD TVs! A matter of time before our "local" range gets updated / refreshed. |

it's good to see that panasonic is going towards fullHD for all it's panel (the C2 is the only one with 720p).
i hope that the C2 has a res of 1366*768 instead of 1024*768....and better/lower price than the current 2009 C model.
