Man I booted my first real game and had to stop to look up for info...

Like so many new stuff in the AI worlds it's quite crazy, even the usually semi-empty ones next to your homeworld...
All the different types of guardians (these replace the turrets if I am not wrong right?), guard posts (I like this idea a lot, more variety) etc.

Arcen team is really amazing in the depth they put into the game when even old timers have to re-learn the game after a big update...

It's like they could more or less reboot the whole forum on their website because most of the info in there is out-dated now...

New Xpac for December apparently... will definitely get it as soon as they open sales to support them, they are doing quite an amazing support for their game...

I had to actually relearn the whole bloody game again(!). But some of the features are pretty nifty.

Guises, shall we organise a game sometime next week? smile.gif

New expac pre-order ready, only from the Arcen Website:

Arcen Website

Seems interesting, already pre-ordered to support them.

Cool. I'll probably get it when they released it on Steam.

On a side note, I finally completed a full campaign. Commando raids into AI Homeworlds for the win!

You can buy it from Arcen website and then enter the Serial into Steam when it's released, it will be added to the Steam DLC list etc.
I did that for Children of Neizrul and worked fine

I buy it from them to make sure they get all the money, not that I think Steam is profiteering from them, but Arcen is running low on cash so might as well make sure they get as much as possible.

On a game point of view, I find the game to be quite much tougher than before, planets tend to be filled much more with Ion cannons and co than before.
That or I got unlucky tongue.gif

Yeah, but Ion cannons dont seem to be the horror they once were. Musta been nerfed one way or another. (or I just gotten used to dealing with them. Mark III bombers suicide runs always works.)

True, I think they fire less often than before.

I do feel my lovely parasites have been nerfed though, might be time to change to another starting ship type, I heard laser gatling were the new hot topics

not as badly nerfed as autocannon minipods. They removed the swarm bonus. sad.gif Now they are just poor meatshields with "cloak".

On the other hand, viral shredders are the bomb! You can literally station 100-200 of each on EVERY planet once you replicated enough.

Luckily Advanced Research Station is nuke proof. I would have raged if fraggy nuke blew that one up as well.
