Sling or Backpack?
I have used Sling Lowerpro bag and its slightly uncomfortable for me. It feels ungainly and you can't exactly carry it straight. I am a nuts for messenger bag hence I know that unless you get a good messenger bag with straps, your shoulder will be aching like nuts. So my suggestions, go for Backpack, the cool kind. Granted Backpack normally goes for around 300? But you might be able to get good deals if you look around. |

Close to an hour for me. The ppl there told me to be back in 45 mins, but they look longer than that.
Personally, I would say quality over speed. |

QUOTE(kvynn @ Mar 8 2010, 02:39 PM) Hi, is it true that nikon original battery not long lasting? jz got a D5000 yesterday with the package of 4g sd card, camera bag, and an extra battery. Hua? I don't know bout you but that sounded like a load of Bull to me...Noticed that both the batteries were branded KEEP. Asked the seller regarding why not original nikon batteries, he said due to the original batteries not long lasting so they don't bother to bring in original batteries and provide customers with this brand KEEP batteries. Is this true? EDIT: and also he said original nikon battery warranty 2 weeks while this KEEP batteries warranty 1 year. |

go back and claim for original battery back. An ori EN-EL9a can got for 160 at least.
While "OTHERS" brand is around RM60 only. Beside, what are the chances that Nikon cannot get their production for battery right while others can? edit: Fotokem or fotocam? This post has been edited by reveur: Mar 8 2010, 03:08 PM |

QUOTE(SkyBlue99 @ Mar 9 2010, 08:41 AM) ballhead is easier to control but if u use heavy equipment.. the ballhead will 'slip'. Wait... Easier to control and more control? So panhead is essentially better then? as Ballhead has limitation? however panhead gives u more control as u can adjust all the height, left right etc etc 1 by 1. QUOTE(kvynn @ Mar 9 2010, 09:04 AM) Hi, just to update the status..i had checked the battery in my camera. Its original. So i guess the extra battery given is KEEP should be ok gua. Since the package never said to provide original battery. >.< Well, now we know that at least the fellow didn't try to cheat you out of the original battery. Regardless. The shop name is Fotocam? (p/s: I have a suspicion that my 2nd hand D60 comes from there too...) |

So panhead is more on precision while ballhead is more like free and easy. u can pan it anyway you like. Correct?
Question - Won't the ballhead be loose after a while since it doesn't have that locking baton thingy that panhead have. |

Well that sucks....
If it can't support D5k which is not exactly heavy weight, then what the heck is it supposed to support? Is ur Stand faulty or is this just inheritance in all Pro 320 tripods? |
