I registered online. 24 hrs already but no T&C call. Should I call them instead? Or will they definitely call after we registered online?

Mine call in for register.. no one call after 24.. At night register again online.. the next morning astro call for confirmation..

no harm to re-register through call-in.. At least one of then will works.

Got my astro within 3 days after they call me for confirmation..

Is it true? how many of you guys experience the same?

I apply byond thru online yesterday, today cs call me for t&c. She said they will install all unit (dish, cable, dmt & remote) but i must return old set. If i want to keep old set, they will charge RM80 for each items. that's mean, DMT-RM80, dish-RM80, smart cad-RM80 
I said i want to keep dmt only for my mom's house (still use sluggish old nokia dmt  ). She said better i change my dmt with my mom & return my mom's dmt to them, so i wont need to pay anything.
Could i do that?

Received call from Astro CS, no problem on smartcard activation system, apparently the Astro Installer did not carry out the right procedure contacting IVR (dunno what stand for) giving his Astro installer code, Astro beyond serial number and smartcard number. Gave him the Astro installer contact number, hope the problem and activation can be done soonest.

I got mine installed on 6 Jan wherby my colleague got his installed on 31 Dec 2009. My Byond decoder came with ODU 60 (old type dish). So, I requested the installer not to install it and I use back my old dish. Called the installer this afternoon and according to him, there's new set arrived today with ODU 65 but it's allocated to some others subscriber.

Good that you get yours as well. Bintulu as far as I know have 4 Astro installer and 2 of them with the surname Hii. So, not sure your installer is the one driving Hilux or the one driving old van.

Have you check if your outdoor unit was a darker colour than previous or it's the same old type?

I read in some forums, you just need RM50 and RM80 to register new astro... 
compare to first batch subscriber that need to pay 1.5k ++ to register in 1996....
my uncle also pay RM899 + RM100 for installation I think in 2000 if i;m not mistaken...
now, his decoder already damaged...

AXN HD is more great. CSI, supernatural, Numb3rs, terminator, chuck all in glory HD.

BTW today is my 28 days of waiting. Installer just give me a dish only. Dunno when he wanna come to install.

Where you see the commercial? Web or at Astro? 

MY ODU was replaced from ODU 60 to ODU 65 this noon. Entry point # 1 signal improved from 185 to 222, entry point # 18 signal improved from 217 to 244. Thanks a lot to those who's helping out!
