Does LG 32LH20R supports HDCP???

I need to buy an LCD TV (if can) before the installer comes....

I cannot afford to regret if the tv cannot display encrypted HD content...

Unless you're rich, don't rush in to buy a HDTV. Otherwise you'd have buyer's regret.

B.yond will be in HD regardless if your TV is not. So look around for a HDTV that you can afford with a picture quality you like with a design you like, then see if has HDCP as well as 2/3 HDMI inputs.

If you have the red/white stereo cables, use that. It should work.

i suggest to better understand the compression, try to convert an hd video to both h.264 and mpeg4 with the same bitrate and see the difference...

Imagine hard-subbing a HD programme...
Sure takes longer.
Except they have subtitle file for each programme.

Compare this...

History, Ci and Bio Asia is join venture between astro aan and a&e...

So, soft-subs is available to these 3 channels and no 2-5 minutes of delay not like other international channels like HBO, Discovery etc....
Juz like any other astro channels...

So we can hope for history HD to have subtitle... Others? Don't know yet...

Zee TV's subtitle is the worst in Astro... Malay subtitle wrong grammar all round... and the font is making my eyes sore...

In Astro B.yond, FIRST LUCK FIRST SERVE actually..

Maybe they have problems transporting the b.yond sets to Malaysian Borneo via a shipliner... I mean acroos the south china sea.. The delivery will be fast if they used MAScargo... shakehead.gif shakehead.gif shakehead.gif

Anyone from kota kinabalu, sabah got the beyond? Wonder how long do the installer need to come n setup for me. Can't wait to get the beyond and give them a try, as i just got myself a brand new DENON AVR-4810 receiver, and would really like to try how's those stock HDMI cable compare with those audioquest and QED HDMI cables, i do believe there's differences between them. Just like you can reach JB from KL say 4 hrs driving your very own mercedes, driving kancil also 4 hrs. What's the difference? You know i know lo
*
Well in earlier post... Even monster cable will give da same result as astro hdmi cable...

Here in beaufort not even one have b.yond although many has applied .. sabah is put back in da list

Can astro byond work simultaneously with an old astro philips model?
*
I heard that if you watch HD channel while the other decoder is on. The old decoder will not display any picx and sounds like when raining because HD transmission is in high frequency then the SD one,,, But it works again if b.yond is tuning to sd channels

QUOTE(tks203 @ Jan 8 2010, 02:59 AM)
Just installed Astro HD today. Problem with HDMI connection to Panasonic Plasma, cannot get picture when selecting 720P or 1080i. 576P does display picture but distorted.

The same plasma connecting to PS3 and ACRyan Media player with HDMI without any problem. The installer can't offer any help.

Anyone of you having such problem?

Some of you posted to use Component Video for HD. I tried but it does not allow selecting "High Definition" in TV setting. Only "Standard Definition" is shown.

Please help.

Thanks
*
Check if your tv supports HDCP. if yes, check yr decoder or call an astro technician.. b.yond does not support HD output on Component
