Hi guys, I don't really know much about TVs.

Can you recommend me a robust & budget 32 inch LCD TV? Robust as in won't give problems, budget as in as cheap as possible. tongue.gif

Any comment on this Philips 32PFL5609S/98? What's it's market price?

Alrite. Not gonna create new thread so TS, hope u dont mind if i share this thread with ya..

The LCD TVs i've looked into:
Panasonic TH-L32C10K
Samsung LA-32B450 4-series
Sharp LC-32A37M
Phillips 32PFL5409S

So which is recommended and why?

Personally, i like :
Pana C10 for its 2 layer screen = more durable

and Samsung 4-Series for its beautiful colours.

Do comment if u have any experience in any of these LCD TV's.

Thanks in advance.

I have the C10 and personally... its just a TV regardless of whether which model or brand you buy tongue.gif the novelty sorta dies down once its sitting there and all you do is turn it on and off

I dunno. never been impressed with LGs before.

If you're a budget shopper like me then look at Samsung, Philips (Series 5 and above only).

when getting a LCD TV.. if possible, try to get one with at least 2 or 3 HDMI ports... I'm using one with 2 HDMI ports and I find it insufficient.. sad.gif

But for this size (32"), quite difficult to find 3 HDMI ports. 2 is common.. Most full HD 32" will have 3 HDMI...

But yet again.. i don't wanna spend a extra bucks for a 32" FHD.. if its a 42", different story.

*sigh.. i guess i'll be going for the C10 for its attractive price then...
