Sunway is owned by an education trust. The Jeffrey Cheah foundation, shouldn't be making money

they'r mean for those foreigner i guess.

We understand their need to revise the rental rates from time to time but a more than 10% increase is a bit too much for some students.

Maybe they have to live up to the peception that IT is the college for the RICH!

The increase in residence rental is due to
1. Increase in maintenance charges of the building from 0.20 psf to 0.30 psf since 2009. Sun-U residence management has absorbed the increase without increasing the rental for the last one and the half year. Each unit built up area is about 1450 sf.
2. Rental of unit imposed to us will be increased by 42% next year.
3. Cost of maintenance has increased tremendously like air con etc

As for Sun-U Apartment, it will not be demolished yet next year.

@+hom@s: Hi there. The rental for Sun-U Apartment next is between RM330 - RM390 per person per month for 4 sharing in a room and RM500 for twin sharing.

Great for Sunway students on the canopy walk.

Will there be security features and safeguards along the canopy walk to ensure that the students safety is of utmost concern and priority? It would be terrible to be caught somewhere in the middle by intruders and maniacs with no where to go and at odd hours when the usage is minimal.

I'll have to agree on this. Does the canopy walk have operating hours like Sunway Pyramid?

Can install CCTV on the canopy walk anot? Students need to feel safe to use it.

Hey , I am a SPM student I have scored 4A+'s , 5A's and 1 B for my forecast SPM and I am in the pure science stream . I am from MBSSKL which is a cluster school .

I am planning to take the a-levels in sunway university college , and would like to inquire about the pricing and scholarships that I can qualify for . I am very active in my extra curicular activities as well and am a successful internet business owner if you need details on that I would be more than glad to tell you about it .

Lastly , may I know how many % of students actually make it into ivy league universities from sunway and how many % students get straight A's for the a-level program ?
