Do you offer SAP course? How much does it costs and any other info regarding this?

For ACCA, if you get worldprize/malaysian prize you get exemptions from tuition fees?
*
Sorry, but we do not offer SAP courses here.

If you do achieve outstanding results in CAT / ACCA then you will get a discount on tuition fees. You can refer here for more information.

I heard that sunway college might offer SAP course if there's more than 10 candidates enrolling for it? Is that true?
*
May we know where did you hear this from?

when i went to sunway office ( at jb ), they told me that i must take CAT for a year, and then jump to part 2 ACCA, in the year i study ACCA i would be doing a project that would give me a Bsc(Hons) in Acc...

what is that mean?
can explain more?
*
They are referring to the Oxford Brookes Degree option. In order to get that degree you will need to write a paper and fulfil certain requirements. Kindly check with our JB branch on the process and pricing.

Hi, I want to enquire about the entry requirements.Last time I went to the Education Fair and I asked about the college requirements. They say the requirements needed Maths at least credit. When I got my results,I found out that my Maths is D while my English and ICT is A.So I went back and enquire about the appeal upon my results. So one of your staff/advisors say that I can appeal my request to Sunway Administrations unit.

Before I waste printing out any letters or such,do you even think I can request for intake?Hopefully I would get to know something. And also let say I didn't get it,and I'm resitting my maths paper this 23rd June, the results will come out maybe around September or October. When can I enter Sunway?December or Next January?

Course of interest: Diploma of Information Technology and Communication.

The next intake in your situation will be January. Or you can actually take the Foundation in Arts pathway in July while waiting for your results. The Foundation will lead you straight to the degree pathway upon successful graduation.

So if I take foundation in arts, does this means I have to take an art subject instead of IT related subject?

Also, I got both cousins studying in Sunway. My cousin told me that if I take this then I will be placed under your special control or something to look onto my maths etc.is this true?If I getit, then it'll be easy for me to ride along my cousin sister's superbike.
*
There will be other IT related subjects under the Foundation that you can take. The foundation helps give you a broader spectrum of topics for your well=roundedness.

Special control? What kind of special control? We do offer academic guidance and ongoing progress reports.

Sunway personally helping students here, that's awesome! =D

I'll be joining the MUFY programme at Sunway this July Inshallah. I'm soo excited =D I was wondering if you could guide me regarding what Mathematics I should take at MUFY. I'll be joining the BBusCom programme in Monash.

Fundamental Mathematics A is easy peasy. I would say a free 100 marks, according to the description. I don't know a word of Mathematics A. Is any of the two more preferred? What would you suggest I do?

Thank you! =)
*
Thanks for the comment! We appreciate it smile.gif

You'll be taking a Mathematics test during your Orientation programme. During the programme, you'll be able to know which level of Mathematics in MUFY is a best fit for you. Any of the Mathematics subjects are suitable for BBusCom.

I shall be starting my CFAB course at Sunway in July. Therefore I was wondering if anyone could tell me more about the Sun-U Apartment units. It would be better if you could attach pictures too.

1. How many people are there in a room?
2. Are there television units?
3. In a scale of 1-10 (1 is terrible and 10 is the best), how would you rate the hostel?
4. Is there anywhere we can keep our personal belongings (like laptop etc) locked up?
5. Are we allowed to decorate the room?
6. How far is the hostel from the college?
7. How far is the hostel from Sunway Pyramid?
8. Are there rules like no entering the hostel area after 10pm?
9. Where do we do our laundry?
10. How fast is the internet connection?
11. What should I bring when I go? What are the items available in the room?

Thanks to anyone who takes time to answer all my questions. Sorry if there're too many but I just want to be sure before going. Thanks again!
*
1. For the Sun-U Apartment, students will be allocated to either 4 sharing in a room or 2 sharing in a room.
2. There is no television in the units
3. This is something rather subjective. Personally, I would rate it an eight out of ten as the two points would be for air-conditioning.
4. Students are reminded to bring a small pad lock so that you can keep your belongings in the wardrobe and lock it when you are not around.
5. You are recommended to keep the room clean, but you will not be allowed to stick things that will mess up the paint of the wall
6. It is around 5 minutes walk
7. It is around 10 minutes walk
8. There are curfews. You are required to be back by midnight unless you have gotten the approval from the warden.
9. There is a launderette at the ground floor with coin operated machines.
10. It will depend on the upload/download traffic in the entire hostel on that particular day. The speed will fluctuate.
11. There is a single bed, study table, study shelf and wardrobe for each person. Bring along your mattress sheet and pillows.

Hey. Can I do CFAB or CAT then transfer to Monash University Malaysia for Bachelor of Business and Commerce course?
*
You will have to check with Monash. However, if you'd like to transfer to our Accounting and Finance degree or our Business Management degree it will be up to your results in CFAB/CAT.

Have you already registered with us? Perhaps we can recommend other pathways if you haven't.

How much is the single room rental in sun u condo or whatever it is called? Is there any single room available or easily can get 1?

If there is none...know any nearby place that i could get a single room? Must be within walking distance too. Air condition does not really matter.
*
Our single rooms are currently fully booked. There are several options around the area. Do search around or contact our Student Services Dept. for help with this.

Maybe I'm considering to enter the degree course in sunway, most probably accounting and finance, currently im taking a lvls and the final result will be release on August but definately after the August intake of sunway uni.

So i use my forecast result and apply for it first then show my actual result to Sunway once i get it..is that correct? I got ABB for forecast and should be enough to enter the business course right? What if (touch wood) my final result fall below the entry requirement, lets say DDD..will i automatically get kick out of the college?
*
With regards to your enquiry, kindly be informed that you can use your forecast results to apply for the Accounting and Finance degree. However, if your actual result fall below the entry requirement, you will not be allowed to continue with the course anymore.
