QUOTE(htkaki @ Aug 27 2010, 09:35 AM) Probably he is busy making the subs for the bulk order from OZ So boss, you want to sell my SB13? Now itchy but no moolah for 2 sub25. paskal, the PB12-NSD and DSP-3400 belongs to the same owner? ronaldjoe, the Sub25 is the sealed sub to beat. It's price is surprisingly good over here. If for me, I would try it out instead of Submersive given those reviews. Added on August 27, 2010, 7:52 pm QUOTE(kc01 @ Aug 27 2010, 01:44 PM) Thanks Pricing does not work in this manner in Bolehland coz it's Malaysia Boleh!. So Apa pun boleh! Not sure how much is Sub25, google it but cannot find pricing. But RRP for DSP3400 is A$1.6k (on special A$1,199) and SUB12 - RRP$3.5k (special A$2.6k) Hence, we can't form our expectation on local pricing based on prices from overseas. Added on August 27, 2010, 7:54 pm QUOTE(klimal @ Aug 27 2010, 04:39 PM) Pray tell where can one buy the dsp3400 for RM3.3K? Go to Asia Sound Equipment, Amcorp Mall. Can pm me the place if it's not proper to disclose that here. This post has been edited by ronaldjoe: Aug 27 2010, 07:54 PM |

Taukeh dual sub could be overkill for some.
Pairing AS-EQ1 with 4 subs (4 x ultra) would be siao gila. (4 x ultra) |

Agree with Anfield, I would need more as well in my room to build up the pressure.
My room ain't a proper room for a good setup. |

2x might not be cure your sickness as LFE would leak out.
Sub position is more improtant than anything else in a 'problematic' room. If you locate a second sweet spot that yield some reasonable gain, then it's time to upgrade. Try moving the sub around first before getting a second sub. Also sub eq would be needed to tame 2x subs. Haha |

QUOTE(htkaki @ Aug 31 2010, 10:12 PM) I guess you might be the only (klimal as well) to have experience how much effect that a room has on a subwoofer. It can make a good subwoofer sounds lousy in a very bad room and yields good result when it is being set up correctly. Cost of learning this is very expensive.I am trying to learn more on this by experiencing with customers' systems. The more setups that I can fiddle with, the more knowledge could be gain which is invaluable. At the moment, learning (training ears) on hi-end hi-fi systems. Consider myself lucky as many owners would prefer to keep a very low profile. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(azbro @ Nov 5 2010, 09:05 AM) While google, i read that AVIA is best for this (I have AVIA), but the setup is more for speakers set as 'Small' . Mine is set all to large (except the center) cause using Floorstanders capable of reaching 50hz. Even front speakers is capable of 30hz, recommended setting is still to set it small and channel LFE to sub.Floorstanders cant produce 30hz @ 100dB. There is limitation. |

QUOTE(shuto1 @ Nov 5 2010, 10:39 PM) LOL, no seriously, the grill is screwed on to the 4 clips that htkaki mentioned. So all you need is a screw driver and voila! But on a serious note, the driver can injure small kids if they get too close when it's pumping hard. You can get a Sub 25 and satisfy your lust How long is the delivery lead time after deposit payment? |

May I come kacau? This is the one and only one in Malaysia, according to Asia Sound. I can buy popcorn.
Added on November 6, 2010, 9:26 amAccording to AVS, V2 has better power output compared to V1. The grill although it would block the view of the sexy driver, it would make the sub sound better. This post has been edited by ronaldjoe: Nov 6 2010, 09:26 AM |
