QUOTE(anfieldude @ Dec 17 2010, 08:06 PM) Not necessarily. Some people have heaed my setup. As music is my primary goal, I don't need loads of bass still I get enuf kick for movies. Of course, multiple good subs would be better. Somebody commented your stereo music produced by your pre/pro combo are "very good"

Play some orchestra or jazz while serving some steaks with red wine Sadly I cant do that coz my babies are all in concealed av room. Thats the biggest disadvantage. Pure music can't flow freely. Its focus is on my listening area only.

On lighter note, I think my Mordaunt Short Mezzo looks identical to Triangle Quartet. Observe the tweeter design on top & the curve shape of the speaker box based on the same philosophy to minimize resonance.
Who's copying who ? Wonder how the 2 pits against each other in pure stereo mode. Care for a shoot-out? Htkaki must have lots of comments on above statement.....hahaha. Don't flame me.

QUOTE(htkaki @ Dec 21 2010, 09:49 PM) One is high-end loudspeakers and another is entry level You want me to comment meh? Anyway, wait for you to come here next year. Maybe, I will be using a pair of monoblock by then. Auditioned a high-end hifi system yesterday. Learning more on high-end systems. On another note, my system might be 9.2 by this Sunday. Now, it is on 9.1. It is really a step up from my 7.1 (with Front Wide). The addition of Front Height really add better ambiance Better I shut up my mouth.... Will certainly test these babies next year, better with monoblock for each one. Anyway, do u think it is better idea to have Back Surround than the Front Height? What's your comment? (This one seriously really need your answer)

It was indeed a very competitive Sub in this competitive market.
Now, we have more options in choosing our own Sub. Certainly good news for the local audio market.
Has the oversea shoot-out test already came out? Anything arrange for local STAR testing??

QUOTE(htkaki @ Jan 17 2011, 11:25 PM) Can... 4 pcs? Or more? I do hope there are more to come On another note, I do have the tube membrane bass traps Yes, do a bulk order from Junwei to save shipping cost. IMO, they are value for money and efficiency is very high too. They certainly play a big part in creating a sonic atmosphere in my av room. BTW, care to show the picture of your so call "tube membrane bass traps"?

QUOTE(creed @ Jan 20 2011, 02:00 PM) just wondering would these higher-end sub (e.g. SVS, Rythmik) that started with at least 12'' a good match for the satellite system? Currently got my satellite cross at 100hz, would these large diameter sub happily take the job up to 100hz? Cheers These branded subs should not be facing problem supporting up to 100hz or more. The only real problem is the satellite speakers might not be able to keep pace with these giant subs, or simply over-powered by them.
