Guys, beWARE! I went to a toy shop in Lowyat last few weeks ago... and I saw those banpresto DX figure... they are fake!! I know is fake because I own the original Banpresto DX before. The one sell in lowyat shop is fake because if you look at the box,

1. the box color is not as sharp as the original
2. the box is not as thick as original
3. the figure color is more plastic look than pvc look

i cut my fingers if the POP really an original stuff selling at rm79.90

no prob.. anyway go ahead and check if for yourself, i may be wrong and i may be right, (but assuming if i'm right then it will save lots ppl $$- not all of us are fortuned like orestes who can spend RM100-200 to just to ship over here, me included)..

In my view, i dont think a fellow forummer should be flamed and/or dismissed for merely suggesting an alternatives shops to purchase OP stuff which benefit the silent LYN readers out there

I think the best way for us is for those comment a lot and with original products to show us by taking pic of features which distinguished original products from the fakes.. rather than just giving mere opinions on the sharpness and texture of box(which does not help anyone- especially for those who never own one B4, like me for instance)... oh btw PVC is plastic

erm.. if i would want to show the difference between bootleg and genuine, that means i have to buy all the bootleg compare? lol

easiest to compare bootleg and genuine is

1) genuine figures have a transparent plastic sheet wrapped around the figure inside the transparent plastic casing
2) genuine figures have a glow/shine on their colour, while bootleg colours are more flat
3) genuine figures have genuine stickers, but note that Toei animation stickers also has been bootlegged, so you must know how to compare the difference between the stickers, toei animation genuien stickers are very detail to every line, none of them will be sticking to each other or have any parts connected

you can see the second one, the lines are more refined, compared the the first where some of the lines, like the cat whiskers are stuck together
making it very thick, while the second one, the lines are fine and u can clearly see the whiskers and the face

I am pretty sure that RM79.90 definitely can get a bootleg P.O.P as it is a general retailer price for bootleg pop.

i hv visited the said lowyat store b4 and i couldnt find any original One piece figure there.... do they start to do it recently?
