Number 2 does seem a little fake. LOLYou should let JasonJenn know the fact that SunComic is a bootleg retailer. I don think it is worth to spend tht much for a bootleg And yeah.. Almost everything in suncomic are bootleg. As for P.O.P, their bootleg quality are better than the ones out there. Its like a grade A bootleg with box You know, sometimes when a person is searching for a figure that interest him very much, short to say, must have figure but all the original ones are sold out to either very rich collectors and speculators especially in Malaysia u know lah, these things import from Japan sure VERY limited stock. So, they either settle for the bootleg version or spend 5x the amount of money to buy off that figure from a speculator. Am I right? This post has been edited by Vince1991: Dec 19 2010, 10:30 AM |

Well... apart of Hancock... I think the rest just so so...
Banpresto and Megahouse are still the best One Piece figure maker. |

I think the best way for us is for those comment a lot and with original products to show us by taking pic of features which distinguished original products from the fakes.. rather than just giving mere opinions on the sharpness and texture of box(which does not help anyone- especially for those who never own one B4, like me for instance)... oh btw PVC is plastic http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PVC_(disambiguation) Lets face fact.. Okie... it a consensus that OP sold in sun comic and lowyat are fakes..
Sigh wish more retailers here sell original OP here.. only ones i know of is Momotoys and XL, but both don't carry an extensive catalogue.. Oh well, lesson I learned the hard way.. maybe others who are reading this can take note... i'm thinking of purchasing Going Merry Kit from XL shop by end of this week (hope they sell original OP products) as stated the only deciding factor is whether the crew comes pre-painted or i need to paint them from zero or merely touch up?? Looks like from the blogs.. i may need to paint the crew myself (see pic of runners) http://reggiocomics.blogspot.com/2010/10/g...ece-series.html can anyone verify? Here's the WIP for One Piece Going Merry Kit (use google translator) http://www.blog-tagimi.net/?p=4495 This post has been edited by JasonJenn: Dec 19 2010, 09:27 PM |

yes, you have to paint the crews yourself... the paint color codes will be available in the manual...
the model kits to make it look better, of course touch up is necessary ... btw...24th december will be chopper's birthday!!!! ![]() ![]() |
