dont worry get a new PSU, very cheap only

erm.. i ve another idea...
swap the PSU of the 2 rigs (the on on the AMD one is newer and has PCI-E power) then get GTS 250... |

anyway, i am thinking either GT 240 or GTS 250... GT 240 only 70W max TDP, while GTS 250 will give me the highest PPD for the cards in my list, which include HD4770 and HD4850 as well...
 Added on January 2, 2010, 1:07 amand one reason for the bias for NV card is the simplicity of setting up (no environment vaiables to play with), and the still uncertain release date of GPU3... This post has been edited by astria: Jan 2 2010, 01:07 AM |
