many gamers always seem to get carried away into buying a new console just for the sequel of a popular franchise title, which oftenly don't offer much more than its predecessor (not all, but a majority)
the industry always welcome innovation and it will only be good for the healthy growth of the gaming industry with more original title hitting the market, especially the quality one. I personally care least about which popular franchise sequel will be hitting any respective platforms, rather, I eagerly anticipates those original titles being developed for all the next-gen consoles.

QUOTE(redken @ Dec 10 2006, 09:35 AM) Erm, does it even matter? I think majority of footies play Konami. But i agree, MS has better jap support and definitely cheaper hardware making it much more acceptable by mass market. ya it doesn't realli matter but i do not agree that majority of gamers plays Konami (as in Winning Eleven/Pro Evolution Soccer). FIFA has its own market (especially when you factored in the PC market), seriously I've been a long fan for the WE/PES series but I'm glad to be playing FIFA 07 over WE/PES for quite some while this term. On the other hand, while Winning Eleven X and WE:PES2007 are on their way to the Microsoft camp very soon (Dec 12th and January 2007 respectively), there's still no distinctive date on when it will be turning up on the PS3 any sooner, although it would eventually be. Again, its not a game that would matter, be it FIFA or WE/PES, its not a game that would make or break for either system.

QUOTE(ps360 @ Dec 18 2006, 10:21 AM) Anyone can recommend a good device to connect all three Playstation 3, Xbox360 and Nintendo Wii to a single 24' LCD (1080i) monitor and speaker system without having to plug and un-plug cables? Thanks. Try the Neoya X2VGA 2 VGA transcoder, which takes two component and a vga input. However you would be out of luck at the moment since you can hardly find one unit available. http://www.x2vga.com/This post has been edited by siewkeat: Dec 19 2006, 10:35 AM
