x-box 360 has been launched in Us last 22 November .. the graphic was more vivid and superb if compare with the x-box ... by next year it will arrive in malaysia hopefully .. but i would wait for Sony ps 3 instead of x-box because sony is master of consoles gaming and many choices of games ..

The 1up got the dreamcast 2.0 article, it's pretty good article comparing DC to xbox. DC online also like a dead horse...
Xbox also came into the market very late with no choice but to bump up the hardware and selling at a loss...
So microsoft is definitely in a very very much better position as we can see with the better software dev support.

Anyway something tells me microsoft is eyeing Nintendo as you can see from most of the interview & such...they are like very positive with nintendo. Like the recent 1up interview with peter moore..."i love mario"

Alright so they have something like Xbox Live. And you say it's 2x more powerful than the Xbox 360. Well in terms of teraflops yes it is more powerful (although not quite 2x):


However, the PS3's GPU is slightly less powerful than the 360's GPU:


The Xbox 360 also has way more general processing power:


And for system bandwidth, the Xbox 360 totally beats the PS3 to the ground:


Conclusion
When you break down the numbers, Xbox 360 has provably more performance than PS3. Keep in mind that Sony has a track record of over promising and under delivering on technical performance. The truth is that both systems pack a lot of power for high definition games and entertainment.

However, hardware performance, while important, is only a third of the puzzle. Xbox 360 is a fusion of hardware, software and services. Without the software and services to power it, even the most powerful hardware becomes inconsequential. Xbox 360 games-by leveraging cutting-edge hardware, software, and services-will outperform the PlayStation 3.

Wha? You mean a Sony Console, with Microsoft Dashboard...playing with a Nintendo Wii controller?
