Yeah, especially the noticeable lag on the LV on moving object.

When I take my baby, have to see her directly rather than LV to capture the "moment"......
Yeah, I knew about the inferior viewfinder but I was going for the LV instead (among other things).
I see. The other advantage of the a550 over lower range is that the LCD has 3x more pixel, making viewing of pictures taken so much nicer.  nod.gif

taking baby, u should use smile shutter to capture smile... and A550 is the only dslr with smile shutter. other camera brand can never implement smile shutter on their cam due to thier LLV (lagging live view)

usually use raw. then save a set of +/- ev (the amount depending ur taste) from the raw editor. merge in photoshop.
if u use burst on camera, the photo each frame/ing might not even be excately the same.

i might use new statement,

if ur camera cant go iso1600 low noise. F20 is not the choice.

unless ur camera can go 1600iso with low noise, F20 is a choice.

if added F2.8 lens, iso1600 low noise, F20 anytime!

but dont u forget, F20 cycle rate is slower then F42 and F58 fired at the same GN-power.

Nashakir: Color is fine, but you could've framed it so that you see a lot of blue, a lot of green and a lot of red. Instead I see a rear view mirror, a black tree and a lamppost.
exactly what i am thinking. the color looked NICE IMHO. although itz a little over saturated, but NICE... for computer viewing pleasure only. it cant be develop, it will turn alien photo...

(why i been using the word 'alien' a lot lately?!?!?!)

some spammm, finally got my computer table(last month), i can keep up with the stack of photo i never bother to process.... here we go...

it's a set from my Full Manual fish-eye, learning to use it. especially under great sunlight + dark shade, learning to cope with the metering biggrin.gif some of the photo seem underexpose, but due to the strong sunlight, it is hard to see what am i shooting, LOL. comment appreciated. biggrin.gif Zero PP, just framing.

hahahaha nashakir, why most ur photo got the palm tree kacau kacau?? lol, if u purposely compose it there, it is not working. and, try frame the horinzon closer to the line of "rule of third"

Added on January 21, 2010, 1:08 amLobsterFish: anything smaller then a 20cent coin, and u wan it to show up HUGE on ur photo, u need a macro lens. period.

wingster: HSS also will MELT ur flash if u use it carelessly.

....then whats the point for HSS ?? I really felt that was totally useless to use as so many disadvantages hence using driving and spamming may even damage the flashgun =.=
*
No. HSS is much more then just that. it's something to do with shutter speed. high speed shutter photographer requires more powerful flash to get burn in. even big studio lights are running HSS ..

ieR: Aiyo! Rumors again! You might as well mention that because people everywhere jump to conclusions too easily.

It's still available even in Malaysia:
http://www.sonystyle.com.my/ProductListing...model=SAL100M28
http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores...35437&langId=-1

Sony sometimes gives the wrong description - they might've meant out of stock.
*
i mean as stop production? (of coz stock banyak) i read it somewhere... then i forgotten, then suddenly marco topic came up, so i recalled. i am not so sure, wait let me google....

*edit: okay, the article i read they changed it. when SONY says "No Longer Available" simply means "Out Of Stock" LOL and it was damn old news. a year ago. lol (so fast 1 year has pass, that i recall clearer when i first held my A300)

But manual focus lens are better with mid range entries like 550 and 700 right? is it ok to use it with a300 ?
*
it's easier then u think once u get the hang of it. and u learn much more things bout MF when u really get a pure mf lens
