is female appetite more than male rabbit? i notice mine like that.
the female keep eating where male just don't bother. only go eat a bit and lie down again.

DYI my rabbit cage today as her current seem small for her.
i open the side door for her to go out & in. the play pan is safe from predator except snake.

hope she do her business inside the cage instead outside (play pan). else i have to abandon this plan tomolo. will know whether it works or not tomolo morning.

Added on September 21, 2010, 8:47 ami fail already. this morning my rabbit shit outside the cage. i sweep it. then she go shit and urine.

is it a sign of protest or unhappiness? i put all her shit back to the cage..let her know her shit belongs to there, not outside but she come out and purposely shit & urine.

putting her back to her cage since very cruel as it consider small for her. getting a cage also worry me as scare might not last long if she grow.
headache x2.

my thoughts is by putting her original cage inside play pan, when she wan to shit or urine...she go inside and do her business... outside the cage...she can walk around n sleep...anyhing but do those stuff...

i bought big cage for her today.. the one i post last time where my colleague cage...i bought same from J Jay Petshop...i like the quality of their cage where none of KL n PJ cant fight... with that kind of price.. i pay $150++ ....

i no longer use $90+ bird cage from tmn megah. i bought another big cage from J Jay Petstation for my rabbit. Cost $150++. The coating is good quality.If tmn megah, cost $400.

I bought 5 panel playpan from tmn megah. It cost around $19 for perpiece. I still use that when my rabbit at my garden.

HELP
almost few days i didnt put my rabbit at playpan (garden) due to raining days. today when i take her out from cage, she like want bite me. not only that, she behave very aggresive and keep produce sounds from her. even she at playpan garden, she doesnt behave calm and keep in aggresive mode like a angry dog. is it she become adult already where i read female rabbit tends to be difficult to take care.last week, she has a companion male Holland Lop (for 5 days only). since then,i put her alone at big cage and dont have time play with her.

can advice? she dont have pregnant symptom as tummy dont grow big.

miss very much Holland Lop rabbit..they so cute and obedient

chase her with broom is our daily exercise activity. she behave calm and enjoy as she know im playing with her.

she only change her behaviour as last week i put male HL with her for 5 days.
then things change liau.

don think any rabbit owner experience my situation. i ask A, got answer Z.

My question is rabbit change behavior after she got Male HL companion for 5 days. the Male HL has been remove from her cage after 5 days. maybe nobody encounter such strange situation .that y cant answer this question.

what i do is i open the cage door. instead rush to get her. i put my hand still. her eyes big as gold fish but her body didnt move. my hand and her pause for few min. then i decide slowly reach my hand to her head. then give her a sayang stroke on her head and chin. then touch her body and fur. then i refill her food. didn't let her out playpan as keep raining.

even i dont get answer mostly at this forum but i like to share my experience of rabbit to rabbit owner here. my own style and it works perfectly. im very action guy. so far, i only listen one of the advice here. where mention about my previous cage small for my rabbit. i didnt realise until i got my colleague cage at my house. nevertheless, this photo is my rabbit new cage since last week. same as my colleague. got it from J JAy Petstation. now they got cat......


as for mini rabbit $350, if you are sincere, you give away for free since you care for the rabbit.


as for Jason rabbit, if you read the star newspaper today, got bogus vet. go for those recommend vet by ppl here (coughing) or Zenix (i recall she got recommend one and i like Zenix experience in rabbit). mind to share the problem your rabbit has by uploading it?

keke. some games to share to rabbit owner. i created myself.

Location: Playpen

1) Hawk Catch Rabbit
Use one of your hand and pretend like want catch it from above. My rabbit will grunt or even use her front leg to attack me. Keep make them angry or run away. Then catch them from the air and raise them up. On the air, do up and down just like an hawk.

2) Snake Eat Rabbit
Squeeze her body, twist her body from left and right on the ground. Do lots of wrestling stuff on your rabbit at ground. Do trance on them also. Trance is where their posture like us sleeping. They will felt snake was attacking them.

3) Cat Chase Rabbit
Chase her with broom. Make her run and run. Once she tired and rest, go attack her by pressing her back legs. For sure they will start run again. If they totally don't move, start touch their body here and there as if they going been eaten.

By creating games for them, their world more interesting. Rather than 24x7hour sit in the cage or roam around inside the house. Or do normal movement.

for beginner who try my game, play one of the game instead three of it. then slowly introduce another game.

rabbit wont die so easily if they know u'r playing with them. some more, they don't feel pain during those game. only very shock.haha.

i haven't try experiment my rabbit to swim. zenix, your rabbit can swim for how many round? from your previous comment, you mention about swimming pool.

thought u let your rabbit swim as one of your posted message. either page 72, 73 you mention about pool.

Zenix, my rabbit go crazy when she smell onion today. she can squeeze her head and bite the steel when i lure that smell to her. it was from the garbage plastic i suppose to throw. do you encounter any strange food where your rabbit go nuts?

don't dare to give her eat onion.

by the way. my rabbit always grunt when i play with her. indirectly, my rabbit got sounds compare normal rabbit. it is very cool. don't believe 100% what search results mention when rabbit grunt means dislike you. my rabbit grunt and she don't scare of me. some more she know when i wan to stroke her head, she will rest her head and body for me to touch. but with her grunt sound. so funny. i like to tease her whenever i can. she will use her two front leg to catch my hand. haha. i always win as im faster than her.
