hello gamer here...
i would like to share with you guys, i tried google the trick but i think this is new...

modern pc nowadays are capable to carried out high resolution right...
but DOTA can't carry out, the higher is 1280 x 1024...

there are trick using registry which for sure you guys know...
some you guys succeed but MOST didn't...



here what i found...

after you guys edit the registry key which suit yur resolution, actually the moment you open yur game its already on the choosen resolution....
don't go to OPTION > VIDEO...
coz it will revert back to normal...
just leave it with it default resolution



how to me know...
proceed to yur game, go to VIDEO OPTION inside the game...



there you go...
it already on yur desired resolution...

hope i'm not slowpoke...

Why do u want to play dota at full hd resolution?

PS: Ur item build for orge magi is fark wrong

some ppl monitor like mine will require any games or programs to run at native reso sumtimes @ 1920 x 1080 or 1920 x 1200.otherwise the screen will blackout

It actually got different, your heroes and view looks prettier rather than feel like stretched and like "ketot"

my lcd is 19" w
i play with 1440x900,but oso try with 1920 x 1080 feel no different.
but why it will default to 640 x 480 x 16?
it's annoying,play few time need re set the solution again.
any1 encounter this ?

u can only registry if you installed your dota and NOT copied it from other pc.
changing registry will mess up your mouse movement a little bit. X axis will move faster than Y axis to maintain the ratio.

that's 6.64 ai, maybe he's trying out. i think it won't be of use though..you won't have enough mana pool to spam and hp to tank. playing with AI however is pretty easy, change ogre to battle type and u can whack the shit out of them XD

i use 32' to play.. damn hard..sighs...

That's because you really day-dreaming lol , because you say your 19" native is 1440x900 , there's no way it can support higher resolution .

As 1920x1080 isn't supported , your monitor might automatically convert back to "safe" resolution , hence 640x480 .

even i play with 1440x900 it also will reconvert back to 640 x 480 how to explain then?
