Yeah, looking horizontally.
Seems like most didn't have this problem.

Thanks mate my bad, I didn't know this was discussed before...
Okay... will take note wether it's new or old lens. Added on December 30, 2009, 10:45 pmScrew Nokia service centre, this morning ask them whether need give warranty card or not, they say no need, all online. Then in the afternoon gave me a call and say that need see warranty card/box... really wtf... car petrol also cost more than RM 1500 adi. this is my 3rd trip to NSC for something minor. Such pathetic luck la, I bought from e trade pj and I've been going up and down for almost the whole week just to get the screen replaced by a poor quality check. It's a crack, I definitely know it's a crack after inspecting for so long zzzz. This post has been edited by Zepx: Dec 30 2009, 10:45 PM |

Hehe, thanks, yeah it's more or less something like that... the gap is quite big. very awkward when looking from the sideview. Funny thing is it's still intact.
You can have a better look at the demo unit at Low Yat plaza, which is facing the exact same problem as mine. |

Added on January 1, 2010, 12:16 amOh regarding bout the square or circle lens... I'm not very sure. I saw the demo model at one utama (white), it came with round lens, but the D-pad was fixed nicely. This post has been edited by Zepx: Jan 1 2010, 12:16 AM |

BingYao, you mean clock when it's locked/power saver mode? I thought it's normal to have it there... mine always show the clock during power saver mode... the menu light even blink at certain intervals.

QUOTE(BingYao @ Jan 1 2010, 10:09 AM) The menu light blink is called 'breathing light' can be switched off in the settings. I switched mine off cause I find it useless.. Oh breathing light...The clocked when power saving is like dots dots one. You can show a larger time when you hold the dpad when the key is lock. Just like in the second pix.. the clock when in power saving mode can change. You have to change it from Animation to Date/Time... then you will always see clock and time during power saving mode.. but I think when in power saving mode, the lights are not bright enough for you to see. |

BingYao do you have the same problem?
Well Mine is Square lens. And no... like I said, it can't be helped because they changed the whole front panel (including glass, screen, button and camera)... the whole thing, but also the same problem. |

Honestly, silicon casing is very ugly. Go get a pouch or something... capdase.. there is, I remember asking in LYN, they do sell. However, it costs over RM 100 if not mistaken.

Oh I see..
Just my 2cent, Actually... I think a pouch is already good enough... you know things like these are wear and tear... if we were to get a full body protection... I might as well just buy a simple phone that actually have what I really need, such as symbian OS and other things... I just think a slight scratch on the body is still ok, but for the screen is definitely a nono. |
