Hey all,
Just would like get some feedback from customers who bought their Wii from this shop. I've got mine from them and after 3 weeks, i've requested for a firmware upgrade (which they charge RM120 for two years) as i couldn't play New Mario Bro Wii. I needed IOS249 Rev 15 but they did not have it. My friend who bought a unit at IOI mall had the firmware a week before i requested. Now it has been over three weeks and they still do not have the update and they have been giving me excuses like supplier did not passed to them, the authority has been checking on illegal games and so on. They also say that i can go and update from the shop my friend bought from, but if anything happens, the warranty is void. They also say they will not push the supplier to get the latest firmware. Anyone else has bad experience with this shop? Thanks

The shop needs a supplier for firmware updates? Anyway, please continue in the main thread below. But honestly with all the updating fees and the hassle of bring your Wii back and forth to the shop, it's cheaper and a lot easier if you get unmodded Wii in the first place. http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1028679Thread Closed ☆彡This post has been edited by Pr1me_Minister: Dec 23 2009, 08:35 PM
