It could be a P Statilia, looking at its head. and it still a nymph. I MM can figure it out.

BTW MMania whats are the difference of this sp and statilia maculata (asian grass mantis)?

It doesn't look like Statilia sp.. It looks more like a Deroplatys sp. nymph. Can you get a better photo Ryo?

Only two known Statilia species exists in Peninsular Malaysia, that's the Statilia maculata and Statilia nemoralis. One can easily tell a Statilia from the unique markings on the inner femur of its forelegs.

I'm breeding Orchid mantids at the moment. I'll put them up for sale on my forum when I have a lot to let go.

Thanks, i think i forgot to credit to the original source so here's it
http://www.ukmantisforums.co.uk/housing-eq...e-fly-trap.html

I made another one because there is some gap in between and they can escape through there
user posted image

Done without the net because i fail to see how it can help to trap them since they ady cant get out from the inverted funnel hmm.gif

Great Ryo, you can actually start with a House Fly culture with it and saw you have meats as bait this can attracted bigger fly (the shining green/blue). I love to get the pupae from u..coz a bit "geli" with that big flies..you know la where they come from ...... carcass drool.gif

Yeah that's my friend's website, the famous Mr. Yeh. I used to keep this species before. Very difficult to find them in the wild.
