if you check on the hometheaterglossary (website), thx is a quality certification that assure sound quality on a speaker that play well in 3000cubic feet. there's also THX Ultra and ultra II which is more strict.

I don;t think R501 have THX cert but nvm, u can get a S2.1MK2 if you want a quality beyond THX Select.

hello all, im really interested in R501MK2... i just saw one shop offer me. but im thinking to get it.. as its bulky and i need some opinion...

so for r501 owner, how was R501? bass punchy enough? for treble i know edifier wont disappoint one... an the price is also interesting.

mind to share more about your R501?

haha of course, nope i mean how is R501 compared to like S330 and C3 which is in the same price? someone said its sub is better than C3...

i almost bought it yesterday, realized the store cant accept atm. pretty soon gonna bought it. i hope its better than C3...

for the C3 price, C3 power (RMS) it's actually much better. it just look older thats all.... but i feel its very worth it for the price... lol add me in the list yea.

i dont have any buzzing sound till max volume.
u can try unplug the speakers from soundcard and listen to the noise...

i like my R501. only one complaint, less deep bass in music. in movies its nice already. so finally i tweaked with channel mixer in foobar everything is right. i think its one of the best for the price, since the klipsch is not around.
